Ohio 250 Commission
The Ohio 250 Commission is leading the statewide celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, highlighting Ohio’s role in the nation’s history while inspiring communities to connect, explore, and take pride in where they live.
Through storytelling, events, and partnerships across the state, the Commission is helping bring Ohio’s past to life in meaningful and engaging ways.
In 2026, Outdoor Pursuits is proud to partner with the Ohio 250 Commission to help celebrate this milestone through GOBA. Together, we’re weaving Ohio’s history into the ride experience—connecting riders with the people, places, and stories that define our state. From small towns to scenic backroads, GOBA 2026 will serve as a moving celebration of Ohio’s legacy and its vibrant cycling community.
Ohio to Erie Trail
The Ohio to Erie Trail is one of the longest multi-use trails in the country, connecting the Ohio River to Lake Erie through a growing network of scenic, off-road pathways. Spanning more than 300 miles, the trail links communities, parks, and historic corridors—offering a safe, accessible way to explore the state by bike.
Led by the Ohio to Erie Trail organization, this incredible resource continues to expand each year, bringing more riders onto car-free routes and strengthening connections between Ohio’s cities and small towns.
Outdoor Pursuits is proud to build experiences around this world-class trail system. Many of our rides, including GOBA and OETA, highlight sections of the Ohio to Erie Trail—giving riders the chance to experience some of the best cycling Ohio has to offer while supporting the continued growth and awareness of this statewide asset.
