Tour of the Scioto River Valley (TOSRV)

TOSRV: A Bucket List Cycling Tradition Since 1962

What began as a father-son adventure has blossomed into a beloved annual tradition for cyclists of all levels. For over 60 years, the TOSRV (Tour of the Scioto River Valley) has earned its place as a bucket list ride, attracting thousands of riders, and becoming the largest cycling event in the nation. It is a testament to the enduring appeal of this classic tour, which Bicycling Magazine consistently features on its “Bucket Rides” list.

TOSRV sparked the bicycle touring revolution in America. It is the oldest, continuing tour in the nation.

*NEW FORMAT in 2025!* TOSRV will be based out of Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe, Ohio in a “festival format.”  There will be two days of cycling loops, with multiple distance and difficulty options to meet any cyclist’s spring training needs. We’ll utilize the most popular segment of past TOSRVs, Three Locks Road to Waverly. And, we’ll now be able to explore the best cycling-friendly roads and trails that surround Chillicothe.  Come discover the Next Revolution cycling event in Ohio!

Save the Date – 63rd Anniversary Celebration on May 16-18, 2025.  We’ll post details and open registration by February.
