Description: The Green Lawn Cemetery Bike Tour is a great way to traverse this iconic and historic cemetery and learn about the rich history contained within. Green Lawn's expansive grounds, amazing statuary, and magnificent old growth trees will be explored. We'll stop often at notable graves, monuments, and to share fascinating stories of those who reside here permanently!
Also learn about the ongoing restoration of the historic Huntington Chapel, decorated by Louis Comfort Tiffany (Tiffany & Co) in 1902
Green Lawn Cemetery is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Starts: 2:00pm. Please bring water or a cold beverage.
Location: The tour begins & ends in front of Green Lawn Abbey (700 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223). This is located a short distance outside the cemetery. Parking is free.
Bikes: If you don't have a bicycle, Outdoor Pursuits can provide a cruiser style bike for $10. Or bring your own bike (please indicate on the registration).
Bike Helmets: All riders must wear a fastened bike helmet. No exceptions. If you do not have a helmet, we can provide one for you free-of-charge.
Cancellation: If unsafe weather is occurring or imminent (thunderstorms, lightning, high winds) we will reschedule the tour. Or we can provide you with a full refund. We DO NOT issue refunds for no-shows.
