How to GOBA 37

This serves as a general outline of GOBA week logistics.
Welcome to GOBA 37! This year’s adventure follows the Ohio 250 Corridor across northern Ohio, with overnight stays in Norwalk, Shelby, Wooster, and Ashland.
Registration, Packet Pick-Up & Camp Operations
Friday, June 19 – Early Check-In
Huron County Fairgrounds – Norwalk
940 Fair Rd, Norwalk, OH 44857
Early Registration: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Avoid the Sunday morning lines by checking in early! Riders may pick up their registration packet, wristband, luggage tags, parking permit, route information, and GOBA materials.
Tent camping, RV parking, indoor sleeping, and dorm check-in information will be available at Registration.
Camp set-up is not permitted before 4:00 pm.
Saturday, June 20 – GOBA +1 Community Ride
Huron County Fairgrounds – Norwalk
940 Fair Rd, Norwalk, OH 44857
Registration: 6:30 am – 9:00 am
Join us for an optional community ride exploring the Firelands region. This relaxed day is designed to help riders settle into camp, test equipment, reconnect with friends, and enjoy the local attractions before GOBA officially begins.
Be sure to visit downtown Norwalk and enjoy the Firelands Music Festival Saturday evening.
Sunday, June 21 – Lake Erie Adventure Ride
Huron County Fairgrounds – Norwalk

Registration & Information Booth: 6:30 am – 9:00 am
GOBA officially begins! Enjoy a scenic day of riding through northern Ohio with route options that explore the Lake Erie shoreline and surrounding communities.
Goba Kickoff Dinner – Included with registration
Monday, June 22 – Ride to Shelby
Black Fork Commons Plaza
12 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875
6:30 am – 9:00 am
Today is GOBA’s first transfer day as we ride from Norwalk to Shelby.
Please have all luggage loaded onto the luggage truck before departure. Riders should completely vacate their campsites and sleeping areas before leaving.
Upon arrival in Shelby, follow signage and volunteer directions for tent camping, indoor sleeping, showers, and evening activities.
Tuesday, June 23 – Ride to Wooster
Shelby Host Site
6:30 am – 9:00 am
Another transfer day takes us south to Wooster, home of the College of Wooster and one of GOBA’s most activity-filled communities.
Load luggage before departure and be sure your campsite is cleared before leaving Shelby.
Upon arrival, riders may check into camping, indoor sleeping, or dorm accommodations.
Wednesday, June 24 – Wooster Layover Day
College of Wooster Area
6:30 am – 9:00 am
Enjoy a day of riding from Wooster with several route options and special attractions throughout Wayne County.
No luggage move today! Leave camp set up and enjoy the freedom of a classic GOBA layover day.
Optional tours, downtown activities, Amish Country experiences, and local attractions will be available.
Thursday, June 25 – Ride to Ashland
Wooster Host Site
6:30 am – 9:00 am
Today’s transfer ride takes us to Ashland.
All luggage must be loaded before departure and campsites completely cleared.
Upon arrival, volunteers will direct riders to camping, indoor sleeping, dorm accommodations, showers.
Friday, June 26 – Ashland Adventure Day
Ashland Host Site
6:30 am – 9:00 am
Enjoy a full day of riding from Ashland featuring route options through some of Ohio’s most scenic countryside.
No luggage move today. Leave camp set up and enjoy another layover day before the final ride back to Norwalk.
Be sure to take advantage of the community activities and BalloonFest festivities taking place throughout the day.
Saturday, June 27 – Return Ride to Norwalk
Finish at Huron County Fairgrounds – Norwalk

The final day of GOBA brings us full circle back to Norwalk.
Upon arrival, riders may collect their vehicles and begin their trip home. Please remove all personal belongings and equipment from camp areas before departing.

Parking & Vehicle Information
All vehicles must display an official GOBA Parking Permit.
Weeklong Riders
Park in designated long-term parking areas at the Huron County Fairgrounds. Your vehicle will remain there for the duration of GOBA.
Weekend Riders
Specific parking instructions will be provided at check-in.
RVs & Campers
RV drivers are responsible for moving their vehicles between overnight locations on transfer days.
Please follow all directions from GOBA staff and volunteers regarding parking and camp placement.

Indoor sleeping locations are available in each host community.

Camp Rules
Please help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
- Camp only in designated areas.
- Observe quiet hours.
- Dispose of trash properly.
- No open fires.
- Respect fellow riders, volunteers, and host communities.
- Follow all instructions from GOBA staff.
Strict compliance with camp rules is required.
Charging Electronics
A charging station will be available in camp for phones, GPS units, and small electronics.
Please label all charging devices.
GOBA is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
