Annual Membership Meeting & Board Election
Tuesday October 20th,
6pm Potluck
 7pm Business Meeting and Election
Everal Barn in Westerville

Your vote counts!
This is our Annual Membership Meeting where we share food, laughs, and elect Board members. The ballot will include a COP Constitution change concerning when Board meetings are held.

We have a shortage of candidates for the Board.  Doug Beebe is the only person who has come forward to run.  He is interested in being our Treasurer this coming year.

Additional Board nominees are encouraged from the floor at the Election Meeting.

The term for an elected member is 2 years and 4 of these terms are up for election this year.  An additional position is available that expires October of 2016 (1 year).

We also have a Constitutional Amendment up for vote.

Proposed Changes to the COP Constitution
All language comes from Article VII – Executive Board and Committees.

Current constitution language: At all Executive Board meetings, a quorum shall consist of a minimum of seven (7) members of the Executive Board present in person (preferred), or via technology that allows a Board member to actively participate in the meeting.

b) Proposed constitution language: At all Executive Board meetings, a quorum shall consist of a minimum of the majority of the then current members of the Executive Board (50% + 1) present in person (preferred), or via technology that allows a Board member to actively participate in the meeting.
