Join the fun and excitement of boating this year! Learn in a safe environment and have fun with our instructors.This winter, COP will again be hosting two sessions of Kayak 1 School at the Grove City YMCA. Each session will be two consecutive Saturday evenings. Kayak 1 School is intended for anyone who is interested in learning the basic skills for whitewater kayaking. This 2 day introductory class will include instruction on basic paddle strokes, wet exits, eskimo rescues, eskimo rolls and general safety.
Cost: $70 COP members, $85 non-members.
Session 1: Saturday, Feb 23 & Saturday, March 2.
Session 2: Saturday, March 16 & Saturday, March 23.
All classes will be held at The Grove City YMCA, 3600 Discovery Dr., Grove City, OH 43123.
