2013 Southern Flatwater Boating Trip

This will be a multi day boating trip in Southern Georgia or Northern Florida.  We prefer a 4-5 day self contained canoe camping trip on one of the lovely rivers in the area, but much depends on water level.  Last year we were lucky and caught the Suwanee River just after a heavy rain.  Some small boat (canoe, kayak) experience is needed.  The weather is usually warm, bugs are still subdued, and a fine time is had by all.  We will also try to get a day trip to local attractions just before or after we get off the river.  Canoes, kayaks, sea kayaks are all welcome.  Cost for the week is usually 200-250 dollars.  This event is only open to COP members.
